The Strategic Content Learning Approach to Promoting Self-Regulated Learning – Deborah L. Butler
This article describes Strategic Content Learning (SCL), an approach to supporting self-regulated learning. Conducted among post-secondary students with learning disabilities, the researchers found that tutoring program in the SCL approach helped improve students’ understanding about self-regulation and task performance.
