Promoting Strategic Learning by Eighth-Grade Students Struggling in Mathematics: A Report of Three Case Studies – Deborah L. Butler, Beverly Buckingham, & Helen J. Novak Lauscher
This article describes Strategic Content Learning, an approach to supporting self-regulated learning. In this article, three students in a learning assistance classroom learned how to learn more independently. Research findings on effective instructional processes along with instructional foci in mathematics education for secondary students with learning disabilities are presented.
