In the News: The Importance of Social and Emotional Factors – Motivation

More than half of students ‘engaged’ in school”—that’s according to a gallop poll that surveyed more than 600 000 students in the US. The findings emphasize the importance of attending to social and emotional factors that affect students’ school experience. Moreover, they highlight the need to also attend to teachers’ motivation and well-being to ensure a positive climate for teaching and learning.
