In the News: Canada’s Fall in Math-Education Ranking Sets Off Alarm Bells

The latest results from the OECD’s Programme for International Student Assessment placed Canada 13th worldwide in mathematics, down 3 spots from 2009 and 6 spots from 2006. This article discusses possible reasons for, as well as implications of, the declining math scores among Canadian youth.
