In the News: Poverty, Housing and Transportation Viewed as ‘Vital’ Issues for Metro Youth

This article discusses a new Metro Vancouver quality-of-life survey that asked youth (ages 15-24) to rate 13 key issues. The youth rated poverty, homelessness, and transportation as the most pressing. At beginning in 2014, the Youth Vital Signs Leadership Council plans to bring together youth with community decision-makers to engage in conversations about the quality-of-life survey’s ratings and recommendations.
